Our Mission:
BAMtheatre LLC was established to create
opportunities for youth to shine on stage. We
teach performance and love of musical theatre
in a fun, energetic and friendly manner. Summers are filled with
programs suited for students of all ages. Each BAM cast features talent
ranging in experience from novice to professional. Through workshops,
discussions, and master classes, BAM performers receive the best
training and learn not only about performance, but every aspect of
theatre.

BAM History:
In the summer of 2001 three
thirteen-year old girls decided to put on
a show to escape from a brutal case of
summer boredom. The girls gathered 15
neighborhood kids and put on their own
version of Annie - no set and no script.
They named the little group BAM, each
letter standing for their first initial.

Fast forward to today. The little group has now grown into a prominent
company. BAMtheatre is one of the leading educational theatre groups
in the Chicago area.
Currently BAM produces three programs in the summer: Mainstage,
bamJUNIORS, and the Broadway Workshop Series. BAM also offers a
unique Master Class series (since 2008), which allows its students to
gain knowledge from the most prestigious performers in Chicago and
