Our Mission
BAMtheatre LLC was established to create opportunities for youth to shine on stage.
We teach performance and love of musical theatre in a fun, energetic and friendly
manner. We also focus on producing entertaining shows of the utmost quality. We've
been told that our shows rival "big city quality".

th
BAM History
In Summer of 2001, Melanie and two of her friends were looking for a project. They
determined that their community did not have an opportunity for kids to participate in
musical theatre. They decided to produce a show and named their organization BAM
- after the first letter of each their first names (Becky, Allie, Melanie).
With hard work, they eventually got 13 performers that first year. The show and the
whole experience was a success. Over the next two years, the other Directors got
"real jobs", while Melanie stayed with her passion - producing ever bigger and better
shows.

Charitable Donations
BAM would not exist without the enthusiasm of the local community. From parents,
who eagerly take on time consuming tasks to community centers who give us a place
to rehearse.
To give back to the community, we make a charitable financial contribution every
season. We have contributed to the Hanson Center, Maryville Academy, Chicago
Public Schools, the Hinsdale Youth Center, Chicago Children's Hospital and St.
Micheal's College Theatre at the University of Toronto.
