Live, socially-distant performances! See information below!

The Jr BAM Conservatory Ensemble presents James & the Giant Peach, Jr as their final performance for the 2020/21 Season!

In this all-new component of the JrBCE curriculum, the students had the opportunity to rehearse a condensed musical theatre show in a laboratory-style setting. Students honed their
creative movement and storytelling skills, as the entire production was staged raw, with limited costumes, props, and sets. The production will culminate with a performance weekend, where industry professionals will attend to watch the performance and provide feedback to the actors and workshop the production post performance!

PERFORMANCE LOCATION

Our performances will take place in the Worship Center of the Christian Church of Clarendon Hills. The Worship Center boasts a 750 seat auditorium, which allows us plenty of room to hold a small socially distanced audience.

SEATS SOLD IN BLOCKS ONLY

Tickets will be $22 each and sold in 2- and 4-seat blocks only. Each block of seats is intended to be sold to one household only. In between each block there will be a minimum of two empty rows in front and behind, and four open seats (or ample space) on either side. A household must purchase all seats within the block. (For instance, if you are a party of 3, you will still need to purchase a full 4-seat block.) When you go to purchase your tickets, you will not be allowed to checkout until you have selected all available seats in the block.

HEALTH AND SAFETY GUIDELINES

As we get closer to the performances, we will be sending out information to all ticket buyers regarding being a patron at a BAMtheatre show. We are working diligently to ensure that your live viewing experience is safe and enjoyable! This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Keeping the capacity of the auditorium well under 25% capacity

  • Staggered arrival times for patrons depending on seat location

  • Temperature checks for all audience members

  • Mandated mask wearing - absolutely no exceptions

  • No food can be eaten on the premises

  • Ample hand sanitizer available

  • Heavy sanitization efforts before and after performances

  • No congregating in the lobby before and after the performance

We are so happy to be able to offer this opportunity for our students, and we cannot wait to get back to (modified) live performances!!
