HIGH SCHOOL/COLLEGE MAINSTAGE

The High School/College Intensive program is designed to suit the needs of high school and college students wishing to study theatre at an advanced level. Students will participate in an in-depth study of a musical theatre piece over the course of six weeks. Rehearsals will model a workshop structure, focusing on the practices of acting, voice, and dance, and then integrating the work into the production material. This is an auditioned program.

Due to COVID-19, BAM has implemented many preventative measures to keep our programs safe for our students, families, and staff. For more information on those measures, please refer to our BAM COVID-19 PoliciesWe are currently planning on rehearsals and performances to be in person at a venue where outdoor and indoor spaces will be available to our students. We will continue to reassess our plans and follow the COVID-19 guidelines, always prioritizing the health and safety of those involved. We have developed program structures for every phase of the Illinois Recovery Plan. By registering for this program, students agree to participate in all program structure variations.

This summer, we are excited to explore new opportunities to perform outdoors, on location, and create site-specific theatre - all for a live audience to enjoy under the summer sun!

Rehearsals & Performances will take place in the western suburbs.
