St. Isaac Jogues

After an exciting inaugural year, BAMtheatre is thrilled to continue choir programming at

 

St. Isaac Jogues school for the 2022/23 school year! This program is designed to engage students of SIJ, as well as other students in the community. The program will incorporate a variety of choirs, designed for different age groups.

 

 

Elementary Girls (Grades K - 4)

Elementary Boys (Grades K - 4)

Varsity Choir (Grades 4 - 8)

All choirs are open to all SIJ students and parishioners. Fourth graders are eligible to participate in either Elementary choir or Varsity Choir. Each choir will rehearse separately, and have their own curriculum. For this year, the program will blend the worlds of traditional choir as well as show choir, affording the opportunity for students to receive excellent choral education, while also having fun with singing and dancing! Each semester will culminate with a formal concert, with each choir performing a variety of musical numbers. In addition to each formal concert, the choirs will take part in other workshop and performance opportunities throughout the school year. Looking ahead, our goal is to establish the foundation to build a competitive show choir program which would engage in competitions at the state level in future years.
