FALL PILOT PRODUCTION
We are proud to announce that BAM has been selected to pilot a new musical that is currently in development.
What is a pilot?
A pilot production is an exciting opportunity to be among the very first audiences and performers to bring a brand-new musical to life. Before a show is officially published or licensed for theaters across the country, its creators often partner with a select group of theatre companies to present an early production of the work.
Throughout the pilot process, the creative team uses the production to evaluate the show, gather feedback, and continue refining the script, score, and staging before its official release. Students have the rare opportunity to originate roles, experience the creative process behind a new musical, and help bring a brand-new work to the stage.
We are honored to be selected for this unique experience and can't wait to share this exciting new musical with our community!
Audition Information

This is an audition-based program open to performers ages 10–18.
(If a younger student is interested in auditioning, please email info@bamtheatre.com to request special approval.)
Please note that this is a selective production, and not all students who audition will be cast.
Video Audition Requirements
Auditions will be submitted via video and are due Thursday, August 13 at 11:59 PM.
Your audition video should include:

A brief slate stating your name and age

One audition song, performed with the provided accompaniment track

One audition spoken line
Please compile all three components into one video file, upload it to Google Drive, and adjust the sharing settings so that anyone with the link can view it. Then submit the Google Drive link to the audition form linked in the audition guide no later than 11:59 PM on Thursday, August 13.
Audition Guides containing audition materials will be available starting Friday, August 7, and will be sent to the email used to register for auditions.
Callbacks
Selected performers will be invited to callbacks, including a dance call, on Monday, August 17. Callback invitations will be emailed by 8:00 PM on Sunday, August 16.
