SUMMER CAMPS
BAMtheatre’s unique Broadway Workshop Series (BWS) is the perfect summer camp for any kid who has a theatrical side! ☀️ New this summer ☀️ BAM will offer varied summer camp styles, perfect to delight every kind of performer! Morning sessions will meet from 10am - 1pm, and Afternoon sessions will meet from 1:30 - 4:30pm. Pending demand, additional sessions may open up. All camps will culminate with either a production or showcase. Tuition Rates for One Week Camps:
Super Early-Bird Tuition (By March 1) - $245
Early-Bird Tuition (By April 1) - $255
Regular Tuition - $270

Session 1 - BROADWAY BOUND Experience
ANNIE Kids (Ages 5 - 12)

Annie is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of an orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie eventually foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations, finding a new home and family in billionaire, Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.

Delight in the timeless music of Rodgers and Hammerstein, and twirl into the world of Cinderella! She desperately wants to go to the ball, but her evil stepmother and stepsisters have other plans for Cinderella. With the help of Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother, will she make it to the ball after all and win the eye of the Prince?!

Session 3 - SHOWSTOPPER Experience
Songs of ENCANTO & Other Magical Movies (Ages 3 - 8)
July 11 - 16
Monday - Saturday, 3 hours/day
Final Performance Saturday, July 16
Celebrate the music from the movie Encanto, as well as other magical movies! The week will incorporate themed crafts and activities, and culminate with a short celebration of music! On the final day, students will perform select musical numbers, and share some of the other projects they worked on throughout the week.

Session 4 - BROADWAY BOUND Experience
FROZEN Kids (Ages 4 - 12)
July 18 - 23
Monday - Saturday, 3 hours/day

Join Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Sven, and all of your favorite characters as they embark on an epic, ice-filled journey of self-discovery, camaraderie, and the real meaning of true love. This camp is sure to prove that “some people are worth melting for.”

Session 5 - SHOWSTOPPER Experience
Hits from HAMILTON & Other Landmark Musicals (Ages 7 - 14)
July 25 - 30
Monday - Saturday, 3 hours/day
Final Performance Saturday, July 30
In this high energy camp, students will learn a Hamilton medley, as well as songs from other contemporary musicals. Students will also have the opportunity to learn about the historical content examined in this groundbreaking musical, and discover why the musical has changed the landscape for musical theatre. The week will culminate with a showcase performance, featuring the music they learned throughout the week.

Session 6 - TRIPLE THREAT Experience
NEWSIES Jr (Ages 7 - 16)
August 8 - 19 (Two Weeks!)
Monday - Friday, 3 hours/day
Final Performance Friday, August 19
When powerful newspaper publishers raise prices at the newsboys' expense, the charismatic Jack Kelly rallies newsies from across the city to strike against the unfair conditions. Together, the newsies learn that they are stronger united and create a movement to fight for what's right. Students will have the opportunity to dive deeper into the performance experience in this camp that meets over two weeks.

Rehearsals & Performances will take place at a location in the Hinsdale or Clarendon Hills area. BAM has developed program structures for every phase of the Illinois Recovery Plan with regards to the COVID-19 pandemic. While it is our goal to meet in person for this program, if it is necessary to alter the program structure, we will do so. By registering for this program, students agree to participate in all program structure variations. To better understand these plans, please refer to our BAM COVID-19 Policies.
