Join BAM’s Award-Winning and Nationally Recognized musical theater training program!

The BAM Conservatory Ensemble (BCE) offers a professional training program for students who want to excel in musical theater performance. There are two levels to the program: JrBCE is designed for students in Grades 3 - 8, while BCE is designed for high school students. In both levels of the audition based program, students take part in a rigorous curriculum of classes, workshops, exclusive productions, and participation in the internationally acclaimed Junior Theater Festival. This is the ultimate opportunity for young performers to level up their theater training, collaborate with peers who share the same passion for musical theater, and network with industry professionals, on both a local and national level.

BAM offers two levels to the Conservatory program: JrBCE is designed for Grades 3 - 8, and BCE is designed for High School Students. Both programs meet on Sundays throughout the academic year. The curriculum details, full outlined schedule, as well as tuition & travel fees for each level of the program are available at the links below.

Auditions will be held on the following dates:

Tuesday, August 29, 5 - 9pm Vocal Auditions

Thursday, August 31, 5 - 7pm Dance Call; 7 - 9pm Callbacks

Students will sign up for a thirty minute time slot for their vocal audition. Students should prepare two contrasting musical theater selections (approximately 1 minute cut of each) and bring sheet music accompanist ready (double sided, three hole punched, in a binder). All should plan on attending the dance call, or should submit a dance reel showcasing their movement ability.

Please bring a copy of your completed audition form (this will be emailed to you prior to your audition), and attach your headshot (or any recent photo) and resume.

If you are not available for an in person audition, you may sign up for a video audition. Please sign up using the schedule link below and select the "VIDEO AUDITION" option. Then, record your two song selections and also provide a video clip that showcases your movement abilities. Please send your videos, as well as your completed audition form, headshot, and resume to no later than 11:59pm on Tuesday, August 29.
