JUNIOR THEATRE FESTIVAL:
The Junior Theater Festival is a festival designed for serious minded performers who are committed to working hard and delivering an amazing performance. Organizations from all over the world attend each year and present a 15 minute condensed version of a Broadway Jr production under the license of Music Theatre International or Disney Musicals. The weekend festival includes the show presentation, workshops, guest speakers, awards, a dance party, and a ticket to a Broadway-style performance.
Rehearsals for the JTF show will begin in September, focusing on the 15 minute cut we will be performing at JTF. The festival will take place January 12 - 16, 2023 in Atlanta, GA. Please note that festival participation and travel fees are additional costs, and not included in the tuition for BCE. Parents are highly encouraged to attend the festival. We require one parent chaperone for every 4 students in attendance. Additional JTF information is available here.
PRODUCTION:
After the Junior Theatre Festival, students will then return home to rehearse the extended version of the show we performed at the festival. The full show will then be performed for our final performance weekend in March. We are thrilled to announce that the 22/23 JrBCE Production will be MATILDA JR!
